We drill and service residential, farm, and commercial wells, and wells for many lake properties. Located in Litchfield, we serve all of Meeker County, including the surrounding towns of Darwin, Dassel, Cosmos, Grove City, Atwater, Eden Valley, Watkins, Kingston & Kimball.
We are licensed by the MN Department of Health; we are insured and bonded. We are also a member of the MN Water Well Association.
Established in 1964
Fred Boerner went to school at Dunwoody to be an electrician, and then got his professional start at Tierney Well Drilling in 1936. He served in the Navy during WW2 until he came home in November 1946, and returned to Tierney's.
Fred opened his own business in 1964. His son, Michael often worked with him, from the time he was big enough to pick up a pipe wrench. In 1985, Fred sold the business to Michael but kept doing the bookwork until he passed in 1994. Now Boerner Well Co. is run by Michael and his wife Debra.
